THE EMJ STORY: FROM ROOTS TO RESILIENCE
Damani Hamblin is the Managing Director of Cinco Amor Ltd, an international IT consultancy company with its head office in London. Its operations span fifteen countries across five continents.
He also leads Enjoy My Journey, a motivational community initiative dedicated to unlocking human potential both physically and spiritually.
Damani is the first to admit that his path to success was anything but conventional.
Defying expectations, he challenged norms and chose to pursue uncharted avenues in pursuit of his goals.
Originally setting out to study engineering, Damani's curiosity and drive to understand complex systems led him into the world of IT. From that moment, his trajectory shifted.
“I didn’t like how IT was perceived,” Damani explains.
“The image of tech professionals sitting in remote rooms answering phones wasn’t what I wanted to represent. I set out to change that.
At Cinco Amor, we offer a dynamic and client focus approach. All our staff are office-based, which reflects the calibre of clients we serve and the standard of service we uphold.
We’re also proud to maintain ISO compliance, ensuring transparency and audit readiness at all times.”
Beyond the business world, Damani is a dedicated martial artist who has integrated this discipline into his broader lifestyle. By creating space for introspection, he has discovered a mental sanctuary which he describes as “a plateau of peace”. This keeps him grounded amid life’s demands.
It is this personal evolution that became the inspiration behind Enjoy My Journey.
Damani is of the belief that every step, irrespective of where it leads, is part of the process of becoming who we are truly meant to be.
His work is deeply rooted in a desire to empower and uplift, with a strong focus on youth. Through motivational content, martial arts-based fitness, and transformative global travel experiences, he promotes self-worth, resilience, and inclusive growth.
His message is clear: lead a purposeful life, stay grounded, and rise above toxic influences, a task increasingly difficult in today’s world of constant distractions.
Born in the Caribbean to Barbadian parents of mixed heritage, Damani refers to himself as “a child of the universe.” Having studied in Canada, worked in major global cities, and ultimately founded his company in the UK, his multicultural experiences have shaped both his leadership style and worldview.
“Building a successful life isn’t easy,” he reflects. “There’s rarely enough time in the day to meet all my commitments and sleep though it may cross my mind every now and then isn’t even on my radar. But there are rewards. I’m grateful for the opportunity to travel, to meet people from diverse backgrounds, and yes,” he adds with a smile, “I do have a love for fast cars.”
Through the four foundational pillars of Travel, Martial Arts, Leadership, and Narrative, Damani invites others to join him on a path of self-discovery, empowerment, and community building.
“You matter. You’re capable. And your story is just beginning,” he says whilst urging the world to walk with him.
