EMJ MOTTO

EmJ motto
For us, progress doesn’t always roar. It doesn’t always show up with fireworks, medals, or applause. It’s quiet, unnoticed by the world and even by ourselves.
For us, progress doesn’t always roar. It doesn’t always show up with fireworks, medals, or applause. It’s quiet, unnoticed by the world and even by ourselves.
It’s in the early mornings when one chooses to rise instead of sleeping…. It’s in the repetition, the hard conversations, the skipped shortcuts.
Progress is persistence, not perfection….. it’s a motivation of sorts that lights our fire.
We live in a culture that celebrates laziness and sloth…but the other side if dedicated will provide us with degrees that are earned and goals achieved but the real miracle is in the process.
It’s in showing up one more time when you feel like giving up.
It’s in moving forward an inch, even when a mile seems impossible.
It’s in trusting that today’s effort becomes tomorrow’s transformation.

Don’t underestimate the days that feel small.
Progress often hides in those moments when we resist old habits, challenge our limits, or dare to believe in ourselves.
So when the journey feels long, remember this: You are not stuck. You are becoming. And every step forward, no matter how slight, is still a step toward something greater.

Mediocrity is a silent killer, especially when it becomes normalised and accepted as the standard.

It often leads to stagnation, lost potential, and a lack of innovation.

In creative work, business, leadership, or even personal growth, settling for the bare minimum can be more dangerous than outright failure, because it’s less obvious — it fools people into complacency.
So, awake from your sleep and slumber and put in a shift to get your rewards.

We are the authors of our destiny….

Life is not something that simply happens to us—it is something we actively shape with our choices, attitudes, and actions.
To say “we are the authors of our destiny” is to accept responsibility for the direction of our lives and to recognise the power we hold to create meaningful change.
This mindset is not about ignoring challenges or as denying external circumstances; rather, it’s about owning our response and refusing to be defined by limitation.
Every decision we make—from small daily habits to life-changing moves—adds a line to the story of our life.
While we cannot control every situation, we can control how we respond, what we focus on, and what we strive for.

We are not merely a character in someone else’s script; we are the writer, editor and evolve as we grow.

We Hold the Power of Mindset.

Our mindset determines how we see the world—and how the world sees us. A person who believes they are capable, worthy, and resilient will take actions that align with their beliefs. When we choose a mindset of growth and ownership, we stop waiting for permission and start creating our own opportunities.

We Learn, we adapt, we grow

Being the author of our destiny doesn’t mean we need to have all the answers from the start. It means being willing to learn from failures, adapt when things change, and grow stronger with each chapter. Every challenge is a plot twist, not an ending. The story continues—because we choose to keep writing it.
We Create Meaning and Purpose
No one else can define what matters most to us. Our dreams, values, and passions are unique. When we live in alignment with them, we give our story purpose. We write goals into existence, not just as fantasy, but as blueprints for the life you we want to build.

We are not bound by our past.

Where we come from may shape us but it does not have to confine us. Being the author of our destiny means understanding that our future is not a repetition of our past—it is a blank page, ready for whatever we decide to write next.

Finally, we are the author of our destiny because we have the power to choose, to act, and to redefine our story. Life doesn’t come with guarantees or a fixed script—but it does come with the opportunity to write one that is truly our own.

As a child I was told we stand on the shoulders of giants…..
a quiet truth passed down like an heirloom.

From the earliest days, failure was never an option….

It was hunt or be hunted,

so I carved my path with sharpened intent,

not to prove myself to the world,

but to honour the fire that burned within.

Now, I am the hunter, the tiger, I move with purpose,

bearing the weight of a thousand glances,

a target drawn across my back like war paint.

Life has not dealt me mercy,

but I was never promised an easy ride…

I came armed—with grit in my veins

and knowing that this world owes me nothing.

A decade ago, I dreamed.

And I dared to move.

What followed was not luck but legacy—

a business that now stretches across oceans,

built in the quiet hours when no one was watching, they were sleeping.

I owe no apologies for the roads I’ve walked.

This world is cold, often cruel,

and yet, I remain…..

not hardened, but certain.

I have given….

and I will still give…..

even when hands remain closed,
even when thanks is a language long forgotten.
For in the act of giving,
there is a quiet return.”
